ラテン語「…の手に渡す」の意 (COM‐+manus 「手」+dare 「与える」);

「集める」と「見渡す」の意味は知っていたけど、「売れる」という意味まであるなんて！
「〜の手に渡す」という語源からすると納得出来る。
