有名なセリフはこうだった。
"And that one shall come to you garbed in raiment of blue, descending upon a field of gold to forge anew our ties with the lost land."

小説かと思ったら漫画だった。
だけど、結構台詞が多くて英語の勉強にいいと思う。
Volume1は、”クシャナ殿下と周辺国が飛行していた所をペジテの残党が戦闘機で襲撃。しかし撃墜され樹海へ。虫に襲われるがナウシカに助けられる。
メーヴェを直してさあ脱出するぞ”というところまで。
結構忘れていることが多くて面白く読めた。
途中で挫けるとしたら、”全部大文字”、”まれに古語が使われる（nighとか）”、”戦闘機や軍隊係の専門用語が使われる（BOWとか）”、”オームのセリフに崩し文字が使われる”、”ごちゃごちゃしている（ジョジョみたいに）”という点。

いくつか知らない単語が出てくるものの、この手の論理的でない文にしては読みやすかった。
大切にしたバラは他のバラとは違う。
目に見えない心遣いや愛情が、たくさんある中の一つを特別なものにする。
ということだろうか。
ところで、前半の大人は何を伝えたかったんだろう？
特に意味を理解せずただ毎日ルーティーンをこなしていき、それ以外には興味を示さない存在と理解をした。
けど、それだと後半とつながらない気がする。
単純に子供の目線から大人が奇妙に映るでは後半とつながらない。
後半とつなげるためには、心を込めてルーティーンをこなしていれば、彼らにとってルーティーンはもっと意味を持っただろう、ということだろうか？
