TOEIC(R)テスト990点即解文法 - How Many Books Do You Have?

２６０問の問題はなかなか手強かった。
なかには実際のTOEICテストで見たものもある。
１冊の勉強で９９０点いけると思う人はいないだろうから、複数やるなかの一冊としてお勧め。

ちなみに、誤植が多いみたいだけど気にならなかった。
正誤にかかわるほどじゃない。

andが２個ある。
３つ以上並べるときはカンマでつなげて最後だけandで繋げると習ったので、この文は２つと１つの構造だと思った。

who can expand our current network as needed

設問文はこれを繋げたものと考えた。

しかし解説では、
who can manage the network hardware and software
who can manage the expansion of our current network as needed
とのこと。

A, B, and Cが正しいはず。
A and B, and Cはおかしい。
かりにthe network hardware and softwareがひとつの単語だとしてDと表記すると
D and Cとなるはずで、D, and Cとはならないはず。

それにmanageの目的語を並列関係にしているが、動詞を並列関係にすることもできたはず。本書にも以下の文が書かれている。

やっぱり、なんかこの問題変だ。
これを覚えてしまわずに、記憶から消し去ろう。

解説
形容詞としてのdeliveryは「宅配の、宅配に関する」の意味。

和製英語かと思ったら、ちゃんとあるのね。
しかし、deliveryの意味 - 英和辞典 Weblio辞書には形容詞はなかった。
OXFORD現代英英辞典にも品詞は名詞しかなかった。
たぶん名詞＋名詞の複合名詞なんじゃないのかな。
